Everyday Behavior Can Become Overwhelming
Most families who reach out aren’t in crisis. They’re tired of the same hard moments repeating — and unsure whether what they’re doing is helping or making things worse.
- Every request turns into an argument.
- Tantrums last far longer than you expected them to.
- You’re getting reports about behavior at school.
- Bedtime has quietly become a nightly battle.
- Siblings are in constant conflict.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Questions Parents Ask First
No. Families may seek behavioral consultation whether or not their child has a formal diagnosis. Many parents reach out simply because something at home isn’t working and they want a clearer plan.
No. Blue Jay Behavioral Consulting works with families experiencing a wide range of behavioral and developmental concerns — including children with autism or ADHD, and many children with no diagnosis at all.
Many services emphasize parent coaching, because caregivers are the ones present during everyday routines and can apply strategies consistently across situations. Depending on the concern and the service, sessions may also include observation of your child or direct work with them.
We’ll meet virtually to talk about what’s going on with the behavior, answer any questions, and hear some initial thoughts. You then get to decide if services are a good fit — and it’s completely fine if the answer is not yet.
